Really very good fish restaurant with good food and friendly, attentive hosts. The implemented Corona concert is really exemplary and you feel very comfortable with it.

Nice and modern interior. The outdoor area is very lovingly designed, including home-grown vegetables and herbs that are used for cooking. When it comes to the dishes, you immediately notice that a lot of heart is put into it. They are pretty to look at and taste great. For us it is the best fish restaurant in the area.

Very inconspicuous restaurant, the food is not cheap, neither in the preparation nor in the presentation! It's cheap! Fresh ingredients, home-made food, loving garnish, attentive service. It is worthwhile to wait a few minutes longer.

I am a restaurateur myself and therefore have a very critical palate. Everything is right here! The people who give low ratings here (with spelling errors that are beyond good and bad) are not used to good food. There are only a few reviews, that speaks for the restaurant. There is great, fresh cuisine here. And good food costs money! Everything innovative and honest. Family management and love of the job really score with me! It was delicious and you can sit wonderfully in the garden during Corona times. The pictures speak for themselves. You can park in the courtyard and we found it to be a short break from everyday life. Top! We will be back!

We have been eating in our favorite fish restaurant since Corona and, as always, were not disappointed. The starter of a tuna salad was plentiful and very good. We ate the main course, the fish mix, with pleasure. A visit to the restaurant is recommended, the menu also offers a lot for non-fish eaters.

Super delicious food - great hosts and parking right in the yard. Price performance is very very good! I'll be back when I'm in the corner. One more sea and it would be the perfect vacation 😊😊

It was our first time in the "Octopus" and we will definitely come back :) We were warmly welcomed and brought to our table in the beautiful large garden, where many ingredients such as herbs, spices and lettuce, etc. are served in different places! Home grown! First we got a "greeting from the kitchen". Three deliciously crunchy and extremely tender breaded shrimps with crackers and homemade tartar sauce! As a starter, we opted for prawns in the potato nest and smoked salmon with potato rösti, both again with the very tasty and light remoulade and beautifully arranged. The main course was homemade paella with mussels, fish, chicken etc. and matje fillet with boiled potatoes. Both really excellent. The paella was richly stocked with the various types of fish and seafood. The portion of matjes was also very generous. As simple as the dish is, it was incredibly good. The matje herring was incredibly tender. We definitely made a dessert for next time;) The soups were also warmly recommended by other very nice guests. For me, as an immigrant Northern Lights from the dike, this fish restaurant was very high up in the Palatinate. We like to come back more often; P

Simply great. If you want to eat good quality in Grünstadt, you've come to the right place. Very nice and warm hosts. You sit nicely inside or outside. Fish optically and tastefully prepared, first-class price-performance ratio, completely satisfied and always happy!

Hello to all who want to celebrate in a stylish atmosphere in the truest sense of the word tastefully. Our visit to the Octopus was again a real highlight, as far as service, varied food and a nice atmosphere. Since 15 people already a closed society is possible (40 seats inside and in addition a beautiful spacious garden), our next celebration will of course also take place here. A new discovery that was exactly to our liking. The fish menu promised a lot of delicious dishes. These are deliciously prepared and lovingly served. By the way, we were very impressed by the extremely friendly and competent woman who served us at noon, what today could be called a rarity. We sat nicely in the courtyard garden outside. Likewise we could admire the very nice modern ambience inside.

Delicious food. Very clean restaurant. Friendly service, very informative. There are outdoor seats and it is possible to use the barbecue garden. We will be back.
